The Tiger in You

A message for all women. Even if you feel exhausted, overwhelmed and just like you do not know yourself anymore, you still have a tigress in you. Search for her and find her.

In the artwork a tiger is staring directly towards the viewer. Strong, hard lines is used to emphasize the power and strength of the tiger A woman whose face is transforming into a tiger can be seen lying asleep on a sofa. Softer and weaker lines are used to symbolize her vulnerability, and the growth to be completed by the woman, to become the tiger in her. An “out of place” grater can be seen on the table, which is symbolistic of the woman on the couch not feeling like herself – like everything is out of her control. There is a painting, within a painting in the artwork with the same image as the artwork, symbolizing that the feelings of the woman is a reoccurring internal struggle.

The bright colours in the artwork almost give the illusion of a dream.

That woman is going to be fine, she is finding the tiger in her. You are the tiger too.
