Fynbos Conspicuous

Fynbos is part of my everyday life, percolating colours into my soul. When we drive somewhere and I gaze out of the passenger window, all the colours of the fynbos become a hazed mix of beauty. Patches of orange Erica’s, vibrant yellow pincushions, pink Proteas, and lime green Tolbos adorn the mountains when it’s their time to speak. The Morse code of colour, sending a breathtaking message to those who look for it. I appreciate the fynbos biome and I had to feel it on canvas.
